Heating oil is also known as Burning Oil, Kerosene or 28 second oil. It is the most commonly used source of heating oil for domestic boilers, kitchen ranges and oil fired cookers or AGAs. A small proportion of domestic boilers use Gas Oil, but these are generally found in larger properties or schools.

directoil.co.uk can also supply Cleanheat. Cleanheat is home heating oil (Kerosene) with an additive which helps to promote a cleaner fuel system. Cleanheat has been specifically designed to improve boiler efficiency and therefore contribute to reducing home heating costs.

We do not recommend Cleanheat for use with an Aga or other oil fired cooker.
